How Can I Help?

With your help, we’ve highlighted the issues that matter to young people in Wiltshire through our Agenda for Action. But if we are going to change Wiltshire, we need actions and not just words.

WAY has a number of active campaigns at the moment, but if we are going to be successful then we need your help all the time.

Members of WAY and UKYP are elected by you, the young people of Wiltshire. We are your representatives. But can only do this if you keep telling us what is important to you. Use the contact details, come to events, fill in questionnaires and petitions and vote in the elections. Only then can we tell local authorities that we have your backing.

More direct ways of getting involved will be advertised nearer the time. These include public demonstrations, petitions, radio shows and the elections. Look for more information here or in the local press.

Finally, you can support us by getting involved in the world around you. Politicians keep telling us that young people do not care about what happens in Wiltshire and the wider world. How untrue is that?! Show them this isn’t true by taking opportunities to get involved in anything from a school club to organisations such as UKYP (see the Links page).
